PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary liaison between multiple business areas (Supply Chain, Logistics, and Distribution) and IT. Work with IT to better utilize existing applications to find solutions to business or technical problems. Provide advice, assistance and leadership in any area associated with the planning, procurement, provision, delivery, management, maintenance and effective business use of information systems for multiple business areas.

  • Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the specific area.

  • Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the more complex activities in distribution, involving the reception, delivery and control of inventory, with the objective of satisfying internal and external client needs within compatible terms and costs.

  • Acts as an escalating point for queries by more junior specialists.

  • Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.

  • May coach and develop less experienced staff.

  • Analyze requirements, develop test cases, and provide required documentation to maintain validated state of applications using SILK and SOLMAN

  • Support Product Launches by providing insight into new SAP processes as needed to accommodate new products

  • Create and follow project timelines in support of program milestones

  • Validate engineering requests from internal customers and updates SAP accordingly

  • BSE for inventory management, distribution, and International customer service.

  • Translate information from requirement documents/discussions into viable test cases and execute testing.

  • Develop system documentation (test plans/strategies) in support of validation activities. Investigate alternatives, using existing applications or recommend alternate applications.

  • Prepare, develop and conduct training on new or revised functionality.

  • Complete project tasks within time and budget constraints. Identify and implement process improvements.

  • Determine business objectives of assignments and contribute to the design of systems solutions, programs and processes.

  • Authorize and Request SAP Access for Supply and Demand roles

Education/Experience:

Bachelors Degree AND 6+ years experience or equivalent education and experience.
