Nutanix Sr. Workday Reporting Analyst in San Jose, California
As a Sr. Workday Reporting Analyst, you will work with Human Resources and other functions to gather requirements for report development. This will be both a strategic and an operational position. You will be responsible for helping to maximize Workday capability by delivering visual, dynamic and interactive on-demand reports, dashboards and scorecards.
Responsibilities will include:
Partner with organizations to understand and interpret requirements
Identify additional needs based on analysis of requirements
Educate and promote self-service reporting functionality with end users by utilizing various communication and training methodologies
Run and distribute scheduled reports and support business requests for ad hoc report generation
Develop and maintain HR and other business reporting, analytics and dashboards
Reports will include, but are not limited to, workforce management, talent and performance management, benefits, compensation and absence
Partner with HR Technology to support ongoing Workday functionality enhancements.
Ensure dashboard, reporting and embedded analytics supports HR security and access protocols.
Maintain proper change management documentation to satisfy the company's internal/external audit controls
Identify and apply reporting improvements in Workday releases
The candidate will have the ability to anticipate, draw conclusions, and adapt to changing needs and demands as well as engage with SMEs across multiple functional areas to gather, clarify, and document reporting and analytic needs for ad hoc reporting, recurring events and projects. Develop, create and maintain a variety of complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite, BIRT) utilizing Workday Report Writer, as well as other organizational tools and available technologies.
3+ years of experience developing reports
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience in reporting and analytics space prior to Workday experience.
Knowledge of Workday domains, data structures and reporting functional areas (e.g. within Core HCM, Reporting, Compensation, Benefits and Absence).
Experience supporting Human Resources and confidential data
Strong understanding of HR processes
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, highly organized and detail oriented.
The ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment cross-functionally.
Experience supporting a global customer base
