Northrop Grumman is seeking a Proposal Analyst 2. This position will be located at our Aerospace Systems Sector in San Diego, CA.

Our Aerospace Systems team develops, integrates, produces, and supports manned and unmanned aircraft, spacecraft, high-energy laser systems, microelectronics, and other systems and subsystems critical to keeping the world safe.

You will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Global Supply Chain team and if selected you will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other developers.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Perform business analysis for Global Supply Chain supporting the development and reporting of GSC cost elements in

the AOP (Annual operating plan).

- Provide quarterly GSC Estimates at completion (EAC’s) for major contracts in support of the UMS quarterly financials.

- Support miscellaneous business analysis requests and Price-Cost analysis of subcontractor proposals as required.

- Responsible for day to day Cost Account Manager (CAM) analysis, planning, and reporting for Global Supply Chain

direct labor functions. Estimate, manage, and report performance of GSC functional organizations for both individual

programs and for the Autonomous Systems Business area.

- Monitor and track GSC labor charging and report to the GSC Program managers and functional homerooms. Support

Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) variance reviews with Program Cost Management representatives.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college in Business,

Finance, Economics, or related field of study

3 years of proposal analyst or global supply chain experience or related field, or 1 year of experience with a Master's degree

Proficiency at the intermediate level in MS Office (especially Excel and Power Point) - requires V-look up, Pivot tables, large data sets.

Preferred Qualifications:

Earned Value Management desired

Work experience in Finance, Economics, or Accounting fields

Masters Degree in Business, Economics
